I was so excited when Anne won 50% off a family session from me last winter. I got even more excited when I checked out her Facebook profile picture and there she was gorgeous as can be, and with a beautiful family to boot!

When she told me she lived in Calgary I was so happy to know that I could capture her family in one of the beautiful natural parks that are a part of Calgary's charm.

As it worked out, due to some schedule shuffling around she ended up having her session the day after I arrived in Calgary and in Pearse Estate Park. I was worried about what last year's floods had done to the park, but aside from some missing benches it is just as stunning as it was beforehand.

It was a nice transition to be in Calgary doing a family session while still hearing french. Although I haven't yet mastered the language to a point that I am happy with, it is still a language I love to hear. Anne and her husband are from Quebec, and they moved to Calgary and started their family here, and as stated before, what a beautiful family it is!

Her girls are just so incredibly adorable, and growing into beautiful young ladies. And Anne and Pascal are so sweet and gentle with them, we just had SO much fun at our session. With Ivy posing for the camera and Lily Joe's gleeful laughter. The session was a breeze and the PERFECT beginning to my month in Calgary.
