matteo | first birthday party | montreal baby photographer
So I am a klutz... Like its just getting old how much I injure myself! And last friday was a doozy. I fell down the stairs. It is as serious as I live in a one bedroom apartment, and there are only 5 whole stairs in this little apartment... but I found a way to fall down them. But the crazy thing about me? I have never broken a bone in my entire life... including last Friday!! I did sprain my big toe and it is still double the size of the other toe.
I was so mad that I fell!! The reason being, I had a birthday party to shoot on that Sunday. And after talks with Daniela (Matteo's mom) I knew there was NO way I was going to miss this party!!
And I am so glad I didn't miss it because boy was it a PARTY!!
There was a clown! Fecille D'art was amazing, painting faces beautifully, making balloon animals, she even did a magic show!!
And the decorations!! Oh! Em! Gee! Matteo's mom is a POWERHOUSE of party planning, every detail was perfect! There was just so so much awesome in this day that I completely forgot all about my poor toe and just had a blast right along with them!
And as soon as Daniela gets her Event Planning going I am going to give all of you her info. You will WANT a party thrown by her and her lovely assistant Julia. They blew my mind!
Check out the images below to see how awesome everything looked, but also the energy the atmosphere and decorations she created! Seriously, talented ladies in this family!
And the star of the show was little Matteo, just turned one and absolutely, deliciously cute! His little smile was a heart melter, and he was surrounded by such loving family and friends!
Thank you to Daniela and family and friends for letting me into your celebration for little beautiful Matteo! It was such an honour to capture his first year celebration!
And one last time! Happy Birthday Matteo!!!
Check it out! Snow Cones and Popcorn was available! I had to keep reminding myself I had to work and that I would get melted snow cones all over my camera to stop myself from getting some!
Check out Ficelle D'Art!
And here are the two lovely ladies who pulled it all off!! AMAZING!! (do you think it would be weird for me to get this theme for my 32nd birthday? :) haha!)
