Byciuk Family - Montreal Family Photographer
A couple of years ago I donated a family session to a silent auction to raise money and awareness to cure breast cancer. It was for the Breast Brunch Ever . And this beautiful family won their session with their highest bid (I didn't ask). It feels great to have helped the cause of finding a cure for Breast Cancer, while at the same time being able to capture this adorable family in stunning evening sunlight.
It was probably one of my easiest sessions ever. And one of the sessions I am most proud of, technically as well as morally. Photography is an obsession of mine, I love that I can make a career of it, that I can actually sit here and say that I am working when I am actually having a blast. I still feel guilty when I realize I have spent an entire day playing on photoshop, but then I remember it is what I am paid to do.
I didn't have much criteria in what I wanted in my life career as a young'un: To be my own boss, to help people and to be creative. I obviously have met two of the three criteria, but I believe that even in my paid sessions I do help people, because I am helping them to surround themselves and their homes with beautiful memories. But the way I love to most help people is to donate my time for causes that matter. This is why as soon as I master French I will be contacting the Ronald McDonald House in Montreal to donate my time as I have in the past, as well I am always open to hearing ways I can help with your causes. If you would like a session donated, contact me at reinaproceephoto@gmail.com
This is what came of a generous family, a great cause and a donation from me. (Great way to kick of Breast Cancer Awareness month, no?)
This was a wonderful last session before I moved to Montreal!
